The Magic Numbers @ the Bowery Ballroom

the Magic Numbers played a sold out show at the Bowery Ballroom. It was there fourth show in the New York area in the past four days. And even though the band said that "they have been awake for four days" there was no lack of energy. The show was fantastic. The band played through a great hour long set that contained mostly songs from their latest album. The band followed up their set with a four song encore that included a cover of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love", a great version "Mornings Eleven" and they finished with awesome new song/ This new song included an amazing guitar/bass duel. By the end of the show the Magic Numbers had stirred the crowd into a frenzy. One of the most amazing parts of watching the Magic Numbers perform live is that they always have smiles on their faces. If the Magic Number continue to perform as good as last night I have no doubt that they will begin to develop a large American following. So this show rocked so hard that I give it four socks off.
